North Fort Myers, Fla- Southwest Florida Yachts, the yacht charter company, announced it has been named a Charter Dealer by Beneteau USA, the American arm of the French manufacturer of sailing and power yachts.

SWFY's Vic Hansen said the Charter Dealer designation conveys to Beneteau owners the company's endorsement of the operations, including yacht maintenance, of the Charter Dealer. "It's like the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval for Beneteau sail and power yacht owners who want to put their vessels into charter," said SWFY's Vic Hansen.

Southwest Florida Yachts maintains a fleet of power yachts from 32 to 42 feet at company headquarters at Marinatown Marina in N. Fort Myers. Its fleet of sailing yachts from 24 to 40 feet is berthed at Burnt Store Marina in Punta Gorda.

Southwest Florida Yachts, now in its eighteenth year, charters its vessels bareboat or with skippers for cruises of three days or more on the Gulf of Mexico, Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway.
