La Niña,

Krogen trawlers, 36 and 42 feet long.
“Chartering is back and it’s
back big time,” said Barb Hansen of Southwest
Florida Yachts, who also issued an appeal for
prospective boat owners, sail and power, to
consider purchasing a vessel for charter fleet
placement in the SWFY charter program. The firm,
now in its 20th year, charters sailing
vessels out of Burnt Store Marina, Punta Gorda.
Another division, Florida Sailing and Cruising
School, offers 25 sailing and power courses for
beginning, intermediate and advanced mariners.
