Wind Song, a 34-foot Hunter
sloop, has joined the yacht charter fleet of
Southwest Florida Yachts. Based at Burnt Store
Marina on Charlotte Harbor near Punta Gorda, FL.,
Wind Song features two double-berth cabins with
privacy bulkheads, a spacious, well-designed
salon, ample seating and storage, a large head
with shower, inverter, air conditioning,
refrigeration, microwave oven, GPS, autopilot,
stereo with CD player, and an outboard-powered
Avon inflatable dinghy.
Wind Song will be
available for crewed and bareboat charters for
three days or more on the waters of Charlotte
Harbor, Gulf of Mexico and Gulf Intracoastal
Waterway. Wind Song also will be used by Florida
Sailing and Cruising School (FS&CS) for liveaboard
sailing courses certified by the American Sailing
Association (ASA).
“Wind Song is one of
Hunter Marine’s signature vessels, exemplary among
mid-size cruisers in terms of ease of sailing and
room,” said Barb Hansen of Southwest Florida
Yachts. “She’ll be ideal for one or two cruising
couples or a family.”
Wind Song joins eight
other sailing vessels from 24 to 40 feet long in
the Southwest Florida Fleet including two other
Hunter sloops, the Hunter 29 and Hunter Vision 36.
The company, approaching its 20th anniversary,
also charters a fleet of motor vessels out of
Marinatown Marina in North Fort Myers.
