NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. – Southwest Florida Yachts
has added a 42-foot Jefferson Viscount to its
fleet of power yachts based at Marinatown Marina
in North Fort Myers.
Called Final
Sea Lection, the aft cabin motoryacht is
powered by twin 250-Hp. Cummins diesel engines and
cruises at 10 to 14 knots. Fuel capacity is 420
gallons and water capacity is 200 gallons. The
fiberglass vessel, with a 14 foot beam, sleeps up
to eight people in large cabins forward and aft
plus the salon, which has a fold down queen-sized
bed. Other features include a dinette, two heads,
dual heat and air conditioning system, icemaker,
wet bar, a central vacuum system, and dinghy with
outboard.
“In
my opinion Final Sea-Lection is made for
cruising southwest Florida,” said Barb Hansen of
Southwest Florida Yachts. “The Jefferson Viscount
is one of only a few vessels that combine a large
interior, fast cruising speed, and a shallow
draft, just three and a half feet, making it ideal
for cruising our relatively shallow waters.”
The
42-foot motoryacht will be available for crewed or
bareboat cruises of three days or longer. Final
Sea Lection is the only Jefferson in Southwest
Florida Yacht’s fleet of 10 power vessels. The
fleet also includes six Grand Banks trawlers and
motoryachts from 32 to 42 feet, a Bayliner 39
motoryacht plus two Krogen trawlers, a 36 footer
and a 42 footer.
Southwest Florida
Yachts, approaching its 20th
anniversary, also charters a fleet of sailing
vessels out of Burnt Store Marina, Punta Gorda.
Its sister division, Florida Sailing and Cruising
School, offers 25 sailing and power courses for
beginning, intermediate and advanced mariners. For
