Special Marina Discounts

Discounts apply to marinas on Sanibel, Captiva, Useppa
and Gasparilla Islands plus Cabbage Key and Punta Gorda

 NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. – April 17, 2008 – Southwest Florida Yachts announced exclusive dockage discounts at major marinas in the Gulf ICW cruising area in honor of the chartering company's 25th anniversary in 2009.

Barb Hansen, manager, said anniversary discounts of 12 to 25 percent apply for Southwest Florida Yachts charters at selected marinas on Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Gasparilla Island and more.

"Many of the first class marinas and resorts in Southwest Florida are helping us celebrate our silver Anniversary by working with us to offer special discounted dockage rates for our clients," said Hansen. "This is a great opportunity for cruisers who are new to the area to visit the barrier islands of Sanibel, Captiva, Gasparilla and more and for returning customers to take advantage of these promotional rates and spend a few nights dockside at their favorite island."

Southwest Florida Yachts was founded by Barb and Vic Hansen in 1984. The company charters power yachts from 32 to 48 feet from Marinatown Marina in N. Fort Myers and sailing yachts from 24 to 35 feet out of Burnt Store Marina in Punta Gorda.

Previously the company announced a "Happy Berth-Day to Us" celebration with free cruising days. Between May 1 through December 13, 2008 charterers receive two free days for charter cruises of three days or more. During the high season they receive one free cruising day. The free days special extends through 2010.
