Southwest Florida Yachts Announces Yacht Charter “Stimulus” Program

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla., May 11, 2010 – Southwest Florida Yachts announced a yacht charter “stimulus” promotion giving every sail and power-yacht charter of two days the third day free through October of 2010.

“Want to Bail Out for three days? This is the perfect three-day vacation, ” said Barb Hansen of Southwest Florida Yachts. “You can make this a middle of the week excursion. Or, hey, take Friday off and make it the perfect long weekend to explore our beautiful barrier island paradise.

"Helping people cruise and experience this beautiful area of America is a labor of love," said Hansen who, with her husband Vic Hansen, founded the yacht chartering and yacht school firm in North Fort Myers in 1984.

Hansen said the company’s “stimulus” program syncs up nicely with its continuing silver anniversary promotion which, through Dec. 31, gives charters two free days of chartering for every paid charter of three days or more.

Southwest Florida Yachts charters power yachts from 28 to 43 feet and sailing yachts  from 29 to 42 feet long for cruising and sailing the nearshore Gulf of Mexico and the inland waters between the Florida barrier islands of Sanibel/Captiva and the village of Punta Gorda on Charlotte Harbor.

Southwest Florida Yacht's sailing charter fleet is located at Burnt Store Marina in Punta Gorda. Its power yacht fleet is located at Marinatown Marina in N. Fort Myers.
