Welcome Aboard!

The Florida Sailing & Cruising School is one of the oldest American Sailing Association (ASA) Schools in the country.  We also pioneered the development of hands-on trawler and motor yacht training in the late 1980's. Our programs are top notch and our instructors are skilled US Coast Guard licensed captains as well as excellent teachers. In addition, our beautiful cruising grounds provide the perfect backdrop for our live-aboard, Learn-To-Cruise courses. Our students don't sit in a concrete classroom. Their classroom in the vessel they are on and the waters they navigate during their course. For those who like to combine a vacation with learning to cruise, we offer customized packages for couples, friends and family groups. After your course, you may even want to charter one of our yachts on your own to put your skills into practice.  Go ahead and take the helm!  Come and discover the adventure and enjoyment of cruising through one of our live-aboard sail or power boat training programs soon!
